HOW TO GET A RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT
1) Make sure you are eligible. You must live on:
- Jackson between 14th & Lakeside Drive
- Madison between 14th & 17th
- Alice between 14th & 17th
- 15th between Jackson & Madison
- 17th between Alice & Madison
- 19th (North side) between Lakeside and Jackson
If you don not live in one of these eligible areas, and would like permit parking for you street, read below:

You can also obtain and fill out this application
in person from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 250 Frank
H. Ogawa Plaza, Suite 6300 (6th floor).
3) Mail or drop off the application at:

Make sure to include with your application:
- A check made out to the "City of Oakland" for
$25 (good for a one-year parking permit)
- Copy of your vehicle registration
- Copy of your driver's license
- Utility bill or apartment lease showing your address
within the eligible areas.
